Loved it all great people nice staff entertainment was great esp Steve Taylor and the zoots.
Max our waiter was lovely and Spanish guy in the bar. The room was clean and up to date. Food is amazing loads of dishes to choose from. Back home now to the ironing.
At Warner hotels we have always felt spoilt. We visited Littlecote this week to see a covers band called The Zoots, they were excellent. We also booked an excursion which included a coach trip deep into the Cotswolds and a rail journey by steam. Chris, the lady in charge, was so informative, caring and charming to all of us. At a Warner hotel it literally is "all you can eat" at every meal time. There is so much good food on offer to suit any and every possible taste. When we come home from a Warners break, we always feel we've more than we paid for in terms of food, drink and sheer pleasure. The entertainment and events are delivered with a high degree of professionalism and enthusiasm. We return again & again. So should YOU! If you're over fifty years of age, you won't get a better British holiday for the money anywhere. We've tried, so we know.
Our room 442 was quite small for a signature, but adequate. As we were staying during the heatwave We were given an electric fan without having to ask and supplied with a lovely cool sheet to use instead of the duvet.
There was a distinct shortage of staff in the Kennet Bar, the queues were so long we couldn't even get afternoon tea. We went over to the Bistro but the problem was worse with only one staff member doing everything.
However the leisure club had plenty of staff and the pool was very enjoyable with the doors open it was like being outside. The grounds are exceptional we thoroughly enjoyed them.
Had a lovely couple of days at this beautiful house.
Lots to do, met some really nice people, food & entertainment excellent, Jacob our waiter was very attentive, definitely recommend this hotel , the house tour was well worth it, and Lynne the guide was extremely good at her job.
Lovely venue, well maintained with great walks and gardens. Food and drink all excellent with staff who were unfailingly pleasant and helpful. Day excursion to the Cotswold Heritage Railway was very enjoyable and we also enjoyed putting, croquet and short tennis. Evening entertainment was very good and our room was very pleasant with a patio visited by the local ducks. Overall a great weekend break.
