Littlecote House Hotel - Courtyard Historic Rooms situated in the original Grade II listed stables packed with top-end extras uch as original fireplaces and wooden beams and open plan.
Littlecote is in a beautiful location on an estate with many footpaths to walk and explore. The House is steeped in history and very interesting.
There is plenty of parking close by or at the furthest 2/3 minutes walk....My room was clean and very comfortable. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Dining room was busy, but then the hotel has a lot of rooms. No queuing and the food was very good with plenty of choice.
I enjoyed the spa and had the swimming pool to myself. The archery and rifle shooting are a must. It doesn’t matter if you have never done it before.
The entertainment was brilliant and stops you getting bored in the evenings.
Anyone who grumbles about this place should stay at home and not put other people off from coming.
We arrived and was impressed by the long drive up to this impressive very old looking stately home set in large grounds we was allowed into our room straight away room 221 Signature room very nice decorated with a massive queen Anne bed TV separate bathroom with bath/shower mini fridge tea and coffee facilities the only problems we could find was the toilet flush didn't work properly and would be hard for someone with a weak hand and the sink took ages to empty
You get an allocated dinning seat in the restaurant and allocated seats in the late lounge (theatre)
The restaurant serves top quality food and you can get it off the menu or from the carvery no complaints from the food Max was our waiter and took great care of us the entertainment is first class as well Brett Kite was the first entertainer a magician comedy artist followed by a very funny comedy musician then soul mowtown singer Uche Eke all was brilliant last night the entertainment team provided the entertainment with ABBA music and every night resident band Sahara Blue provided music as well fronted by a very attractive young female all in all a great package
You can also do the historic house tour for only £3 you need to do this it's so interesting and if john does you tour it will be funny and informative
