Littlecote House Hotel - Warner Hotels has short breaks to suit all tastes including drinks inclusive breaks.
.We took my wife's mother for a weekend break and we had a most relaxing time. Both rooms we had were excellent, the grounds provided interesting walks, the food was of a high quality and the entertainment was very enjoyable.
However what impressed us the most was the way everything was organised and the very friendly and helpful staff. Our dining table was pre-booked for every night and the breakfasts and evening meals were served in a very thoughtful and efficient manner. Our waiter never overlooked anything and had an excellent memory. We had arranged to have our final meal in another room and I was sure that someone was going to overlook the fact that we had some wine left over from the previous night, but the bottle was on the table without having to remind anyone. We did not join the tour of the house but the guide John very helpfully gave us an introduction to the walk and outlined the difficulties that my mother in law might have encountered because of her immobility. All in all a very memorable occasion
From the time we arrived till the time we left we were looked after by the whole Warners team.Accommodation was spotless and in house entertainment one of the best we've seen. The grounds are outstanding and it was worth the walk to see the spectacular Roman mosaics. We've found that at Warners the food served is always good but at Littlecote all the meals were excellent. Even the black pudding was perfect ! We also had a lovely young couple Jesus and Mireia serving us.Mireia had left her Valencia home for the first time the previous Sunday and was missing her Mum.!The two of them made our meal times an absolute delight. Our friends and us had a lovely relaxing break and can highly recommend Warners in general and Littlecote in particular.
I had a voucher for afternoon tea so a friend and I visited one summer afternoon. We were blown away by the lovely gardens and the spectacular old house. We sat in the library for our tea where we had a lovely view of the gardens and splendid furnishings all around. The tea was very pleasant, a little light on sandwiches but the cakes were superb. We were looked after by a lovely lady (Joyce) who could not do enough for us - she really made us feel like royalty. We had a wander round the old house after tea and it was really interesting and made for a great afternoon out.
